Carhartt Men's Cold Weather Boot Sock

Comment: I bought these to wear around the house during the winter and for that they are perfect. They keep my feet warm but they don't get sweaty. If they were just a bit cheaper I'd buy multiple pairs.

Comment: Bought these socks for my dad to wear while shoveling/plowing snow. He was very surprised at how warm they keep his feet and that they didn't make his feet too hot or sweaty. He wears them all the time. I guess I'll need to buy him a few more pairs.

Comment: these socks are good, but not great.. I'm an air craft mechanic in the U.S. Air force and 95% of my time is spent outside on the ramp, and im required to wear steel toe boots and anyone who has worn steel toe boots outside knows that once it gets down to a certain tempature the steel toe tends to freeze making it very uncomfortable to wear your boots. These socks help to an extent but after awhile of moving constently my feet would begin to sweat then these socks became more of a draw back, so over all there good, but if your feet sweat easily i would look else were.

Comment: I am wearing them now, during our 4th snowfall of the month, and they are quite comfortable and warm. They are not too thick for my regular brown casual shoe, either. Some socks are warm, but impractical as they crush your toes within a shoe/boot. They seem to be of good quality and durable.

I don't hand out 5 stars as a matter of course and have had pure wool socks that are warmer, but as socks go, these are great.

Comment: These socks seem to do a pretty good job of keeping my feet warm in temps as low as the teens. I don't normally have stinky feet so can't tell if the antiodor works. I do notice a little bit of an itch with them after wearing for about half a day but it is not bad. I live in Oklahoma so the cold weather isn't severe so I will probably not see any subzero weather to test them out in and if it does get that cold I will probably just stay inside.
