Summary: Second Pair and Loving them 2009-09-08
Comment: This is my second pair of Merrell Chameleons and they are fantastic. I wear them everyday. The first pair stayed waterproof until I wore holes in the bottom.

Summary: Another pair of Merrell's 2009-06-04
Comment: It's the only shoe that I can order through the mail and have fit perfect every time. This is my 3rd pair of Merrell's in 10 years and I've never been let down.

Summary: New Merrells = Bad Design 2009-05-31
Comment: I loved the older Merrell Chameleons so I thought I could just order this one and it would fit fine. Wrong. After wearing them for one day my feet were killing me. I think the problem is the new design of the insoles. They are squishier. So soft that when you apply pressure It feels like your foot goes right to the bottom of the shoe, which is rock hard. There is also a much smaller arch in this shoe, probably also due to the new insole. After a long search for a new shoe I chose a pair of Keens. Unfortunately they won't take back the Merrells. Anybody want to buy a pair of Chameleons? Only worn one day!?

Summary: Great Shoes w/ a Minor Complaint 2009-04-15
Comment: I recently purchased these and they are my 3rd pair in 5 years of this particular shoe. The key to these is to make sure you get the right size! If you don't get the exact fit, the insole will start to creep backwards and you will get an odd sound coming from the shoe until you replace the insole. Excellent hiking shoe with good lateral stability and incredibly "grippy" soles that will hug the terrain like no other hiking shoe/boot I've ever owned. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys the outdoors or just wants a really great everyday shoe!

Summary: Merrell shoes are fantastic. 2009-02-08
Comment: My son loved the shoes. The only problem is that the laces often come undone.
