Summary: Runs narrow 2010-07-29
Comment: Wanted some good boots for work to replace old pair of Rocky's. I bought the same width as every other pair of Rocky's I've ever owned, but they were too narrow. I hoped they needed to break-in (my mistake), so when I realized they would not, I was stuck with a pair of boots that don't quite fit, I believe I will buy shoes and boots from brick and mortar stores from now on.

Summary: Excellent Boots 2010-03-13
Comment: This is my first pair of duty type boots and I was surprised at the comfort these boots provide. They look good enough to wear with business casual clothes, are waterproof, lightweight, comfortable and the break-in period was barely a week. I trudged through deep slushy snow and puddles to my ankles without my socks getting wet.
They don't have the side zippers but that didn't concern me because I don't need to get them on fast like an emergency worker may. The tongue is a bit puffy also which can loosen the laces if they are not tight enough after you tie them.
Overall well worth the money, an excellent buy in my book.

Summary: Laces won't stayed tied 2009-12-06
Comment: I like the quality of the boot, so far water proof has held up. Only thing so far I don't care for is the laces don't stayed tied and the tongue moves to the right. You have to double knot to keep them tied. As for shipping, great, received on time and in excellent shape. Wish something could be done about the tongue moving and the laces issue, but I know it's not the shippers fault.

Summary: Great Boots 2009-11-28
Comment: I'm a 15 year veteran police officer, and I have worn many different brands of boots. These are by far the most comfortable boots I have owned. I highly recommend these to anyone.

Summary: Excellent Boot! 2009-08-24
Comment: I have had these boots for a short period of time. I was really looking forward to getting a new pair of boots and was hoping that these would fit the bill - good looking, durable and most of all, comfortable. These boots were all of the above.
I am on my feet a lot, standing for several hours at a time, so it is imperative that I have a comfortable pair of boots. Until now, I have worn military boots. While I like them and they are durable, they are not always the most comfortable. I always buy arch and heel supports to make standing for extended time periods more bearable. I purchased a new set of insoles for this pair of boots. When they arrived, I tried them on. WOW! The insoles that come with this pair of boots were very comfortable. I felt like I was walking on a cushion! I did not need the insoles I purchased seperately. Very nice.
They look great, and look professional - they would be acceptable in any military/law enforcement activity. They have a nice sole that looks to be very rugged. I cannot comment on the durability yet though. Hopefully these will last at least 18 months of everyday wear.
The only thing I miss, is some sort of strap on the back cuff of the boot to help pull them on. Otherwise I have NO complaints. I think my next pair will have the zipper on the side...
