Summary: What a difference! 2010-03-01
Comment: Easy to slip on and off my boots and they really do grip the ice - no more sliding!

Summary: very good 2010-02-25
Comment: very good and durable product. Stretches over the winter boot very easily. I use the cleats every day at work and they definitely changed my life. Sliding on the wet ice and falling ain't fun. The metal triangular spikes are located in 2 areas - large at the front and smaller at the heel. The front area is also surrounded by thick rubber stems. Over all the spikes do not interfere with the walking pattern or distribution of weight over one's foot. In very wet situations i had the cleats slide off the boot, but it takes only a second to harness it back on.

Summary: Ice Cleats 2010-02-25
Comment: These cleats are adequate for bare ice, or ice covered with only a small layer of snow. They can get packed with snow reducing the traction if the snow covering the ice is deep. They are easy to install over boots or shoes and stay on reliably. A quick tug on the tab at the heel removes the cleats when they are no longer needed. I keep a pair in my car at all times.

Summary: They slip off 2010-02-24
Comment: I live in Wisconsin - lots of snow and ice. I walk 4 miles everyday at the dogpark and have been using YakTrax Pro for about 4 years. The Jazebra cleats work good on ice with a light snow cover, but fall off easily - they need a stronger top band and at least an option for a strap to go over your foot. They are good (even better) for a limited type of ice/snow but not as comfortable as the YakTrax. The 2 can be found at about the same price - but only go with the YakTrax Pro.

Summary: Size Medium frequently fall off my size 8 boots. 2010-02-22
Comment: I bought size medium based on the sizing chart. Unfortunately, the STABILicers frequently fall off my size 8 men's winter boots. I don't immediately realize when they fall off, once I do, I have to backtrack on the trail looking for the STABILicer that has fallen off. One time, I didn't realize one of the STABILicers had fallen off and almost fell because I expected to have good traction on some ice. I bought black, red may be better for noticing that they have fallen off and finding them on the trail when they do fall off.

I'm using these while walking my dog on local trails in the woods of eastern Massachusetts, nothing too rugged. They do provide good traction on ice, but simply don't stay on. Maybe these stay on better with a larger shoe.
