Comment: They are both warm and water tight( well snow tight ). I have a right foot 1/2 size larger than left so I had to order next bigger size(15). They are a little big, so I added an insert and with thick sock they fit perfect. Very comfortable.

Comment: Five stars why?
I Live in a Caribbean Island and went to Vernon, NJ, U.S.A. from 21 to 31 january, 2010 to see the snow falling. The boots work just fine, they where warm in temperatures below 0 whit one single and common tennis sox. But the funny thing is that when I came back to the Dominican Republic (usually 32C) i didn't fell my feet sweat, inthe airport, the car or my house after 5 hours of arrive.

Summary: Unseamly 2010-01-21
Comment: Bought 2 pair: one for myself and one for my son. Here's my opinion:
1. Boot itself seems fine. Good quality upper leather with substantial sole and heel.
2. Both pair ran large, not in length but in girth (around the top of foot), which makes them wear very clumsily, i.e., foot wallows around in the boot, even with insulated socks.
3. Bootstrap on top of boot is for looks only. Paper thin strap that pulled away from the seam (i.e., unseamly) on the first try. Only happened on one boot, but that's because stopped using the bootstrap after the first one failed. Have to have it sewn back on or cut it off. Haven't decided yet.
4. Zipper on the side is delicate/light and does not match the heft of the boot. I would expect to see this zipper on a purse, not a boot. Although it has endured so far, I am hesitant to test it beyond a soft pull.
5. Zipper on side of boot routinely binds on fabric backing when zipping up. A heavier zipper would have probably prevented this from happening.

Summary: Bad design 2010-01-17
Comment: I bought these boots for my brother, who is normally a size 11. I bought them 1/2 size up, just in case they ran small and so that they could be worn with thick socks. He couldn't get them on. The way the zipper is designed makes it almost impossible to get them on without a lot of effort - they don't open wide enough to easily slip them on and off, which is the point of a boot like this. We returned them.

Comment: My husband complained within hours about a seam at the ankles which rubbed. Tried to stretch the boot and change socks still to no satisfaction. He gave them to a friend who now loves them?
